Trepid is an original, hard rock band from Shreveport, Louisiana melding grunge, blues, heavy metal, punk, alternative, and of course classic hard rock with smatterings of dark, macabre humor. Original founding members, guitarist Brian Young and bassist David Gorman, started the band in 2009. In 2014, after the retirement of their vocalist, Rubee Stew joined the lineup along with drummer and spouse, Chris Stewart to bring a distinctive style and an in-your-face attitude, original to the group.

"In Henry We Trust", their most recent release, features all new original music recorded by multi-award winning producer, Frank Pryor at SMART Studios in Nash, Texas. The band is looking to work with Pryor again for a 2017 LP release, as of yet untitled.

Trepid's live show is a high energy event that is not to be missed. They have had the honor to share the stage with bands such as Pop Evil, Halestorm, Red Sun Rising, Wayland, Shaman's Harvest, Devour the Day, and numerous other national, regional, and local acts.

“If you are a fan of the local [Shreveport] rock scene, you have no doubt heard of Trepid. They have been around for quite some time, and have made a name for themselves as a tight, fun, energetic band. Whether they are headlining a show, or opening up for one of several regional and national acts, they deliver a great performance filled with blistering covers and tongue-in-cheek originals (Donkey Punch, anyone?). Their latest album, “In Henry We Trust,” is a raucous roller coaster that delivers exactly what you’d expect from Trepid...”
